We’re excited to announce that our 3 Library websites have officially merged into one and we are going live on Tuesday, 3rd June! 

This means you can now access everything you loved about all three sites in one seamless, easy-to-navigate space. Whether you’re based in Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, or anywhere else everything you need to know about our libraries, collections, events and more is now in one place, making your experience better than ever.

What to expect:

  • A more integrated experience - discover books, events, and more across all our 8 campus libraries with ease
  • The same great features - now working together better than ever

Important Tips for Our New Library Website Launch! 

As we switch to our new library website, here are a few important steps to make sure you're all set:

  1. Update Your Bookmarks 
    Make sure to update any bookmarks you’ve saved. The old URLs are going away, so head over to the new site and save it for easy access.
  2. Check Your Folders & Saved Items 
    If you’ve saved any lists, research folders, or documents, take a moment to check them. They may have moved during the transition, and we want to make sure everything is where you expect it to be.
  3. Re-log into Your Account 
    You’ll likely need to log back into your account after the update - use your ATU login credentials.
  4. Familiarise Yourself with the New Features 
    Explore the redesigned interface and new features. We’ve streamlined the layout to make finding books, events, and resources easier than ever. 
  5. Clear Your Browser Cache 
    If you encounter any loading issues, try clearing your browser’s cache. This helps refresh the site and ensures you're seeing the most up-to-date version.
  6. Check for Any Broken Links or Missing Information 
    If you spot anything that seems off or a link that doesn’t work, let us know! We’re still ironing out some details and your feedback helps us improve.
