LibKey & BrowZine Discovery

LibKey Discovery enables users to quickly and effortlessly access full text articles and other academic resources with ‘Search + Find’. the library’s discovery tool. By connecting to multiple library databases and open access content, it offers seamless access to scholarly content, including journal articles, conference proceedings, and more, directly from search results. 

BrowZine works in conjunction with LibKey Discovery to enhance the way users access and browse journal content.

No action is required on your part; LibKey and BrowZine are enabled for all users in the library search.

From the results page in ‘Search + Find’ click on one of button options:

  1. Full Text in LibKey: Access a HTML copy of the article directly without having to select a specific database.
  2. View Complete Issue: Open the article in BrowZine.
  3. LibKey PDF: Access a PDF copy of the article directly without having to select a specific database.
  4. Retracted Article: Access retraction notice and retraction details from LibKey. Links to access the article are present beneath the retraction details, should you still wish to proceed to viewing the article.

Trial Policy

ATU Library facilitate free trials of online resources that are of potential interest to ATU staff and students.

Trials can require considerable work from our team and vendors, so each request will be evaluated based on the following standards.

  • The resource's relevance to the teaching, learning, and research needs of the requester and the University.
  • Ability to evaluate existing resources and replace with new resources.
  • Funding availability and the potential for purchase after a successful trial.
  • Timing suitability for a trial and the availability of participants to actively engage and provide feedback.
