Accessibility and the Library

ATU Accessibility banner

The Library is committed to providing an inclusive library environment so that all readers have complete and equitable access to the entire Library service.

The library offers additional services to students with a disability and aims to respond to individual needs.

Students with additional needs should contact the Access Office as early as possible in the academic year so that appropriate support can be arranged.

See Supports and schemes available at ATU.

The following services can be arranged for you:

  • One to one tours of the Library and finding services and resources through the library website.
  • Assistance with study/training room bookings.
  • Book retrieval service.
  • Accessible book formats.

If you need assistance with book location, retrieval, access to shelves, or moving books to other floors during your visit, library staff are happy to assist, please ask at the information desk or contact us on Live Chat.

If you have any questions or comments about the Library and its services, or suggestions of ways in which they can be improved, contact library@atu.ie.
