Web of Science

Web of Science

Web of Science Core Collection is the world's leading citation database. It contains records of articles from the highest impact journals worldwide—including open access journals— conference proceedings and books. Coverage of some titles date back to 1900.

Scopus

Scopus is an expertly curated abstract and citation database that quickly finds relevant and authoritative research, identifies experts, and provides access to reliable data, metrics, and analytical tools.

Sage Research Methods

Sage Research Methods supports research at all levels by providing material to guide users through every step of the research process.

Useful Web Resources

  • Dilemma Game - this app has been developed by Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) to stimulate awareness of, and an open and critical discussion about, integrity and professionalism in research.

  • Emerald Research Zone - designed to provide advice and support on how to keep up to date with the latest research and developments.

  • PhD on Track - a resource for PhD students who are beginning their research career, and who want to learn more about information, the literature for research purposes and about how to get published.

  • Research Methods Knowledge Base - a comprehensive web-based textbook that addresses the topics in a undergraduate or graduate course in social research methods.

  • Template for Researcher's Curriculum Vitae - Recommendation of the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity TENK 2020 (PDF). The aim of the template is to provide guidelines for the writer of a CV so that the individual’s merits are presented as comprehensively, truthfully and comparably as possible.
