Write the year of publication after the author(s)’ name(s) in the brief citation. In the APA style, we display it like this:
If no date can be established, use n.d. to indicate no date in the citation and the reference.
If the date can reasonably be approximated, put ca. (for circa) followed by the year, inside brackets.
For works from a reference category that includes the month and day along with the year (e.g. newspaper and magazine articles):
In the in-text citation, just show the author(s) and year of publication.
In the Reference List, put the year first, followed by a comma, and then the month and date.
