Named after the novelist George Augustus Moore (1852-1933), Moore Library, ATU Mayo, is spread over two floors connected by an award-winning external staircase extension by Taylor Architects. Double-height ceilings and large window in keeping with the style of the building create an atmosphere conducive to study and research. Our facilities include study areas upstairs and downstairs, a computer area, chill zones, a study room for groups, a growing fiction section, and a self-issue machine.
The Rev. Enda McDonagh Collection Archive and Library is held on the third floor of the library block.
ATU Mayo Library specialises in resources on Nursing and Health Sciences, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Outdoor Education, Applied Social Care, and History & Geography.
