The McKeown Library, which overlooks beautiful Lough Gill, has a lot to offer both staff and students of ATU. As a library space, it offers 80 study desks, 20 PCs, 2 group study rooms, printing, photocopying, scanning facilities and a self-check service. The Library has approximately 40,000 print volumes as well as access to electronic books, journals, databases and much more. It has an enthusiastic, skilled and helpful Library Team, so please make an appointment, so they can help you locate information and books, develop your search strategy, assist you with your referencing and generally improve your library skills.
The McKeown Library is home to a range of special collections, such as a unique historical Home Economics collection, a Teaching Resource Collection, a dedicated Ursuline collection, a Bibliotherapy collection and an Academic Writers’ Collection.
