This guide shows how to use the Harvard style of referencing
  • Be very careful using sources from the internet. You should assess the reliability and authority of the author or organisation responsible for this webpage before deciding to use it in your assignment.

 

  • Never just give the URL as your in-text citation. You need to follow the Harvard citation style which is Author and Year.

 

  •  If you don’t see an author, use the organisation’s name responsible for this page.

 

 

  • If no author or organisation is obvious, give the web page title:

 

 

  • Dates are often found in the copyright information at the bottom of the web page.

 

  • If a date range is given, use the latest date.

 

  • If no date is given, use n.d.
